We offer dedicated supervision for forensic registrars and psychologists undertaking court report work across Australia. Our supervisors are Board-approved for the forensic psychology registrar program. We support competency development in:

Provisional psychologist supervision

Who can supervise a forensic psychology registrar?
A forensic registrar's principal supervisor must be a Board-approved supervisor who holds an area of practice endorsement in forensic psychology. Some supervision may be provided by a secondary supervisor. The Psychology Board of Australia's current registrar program guidelines set out the exact requirements.
Can supervision be done via telehealth?
Yes. Supervision is available by telehealth for practitioners anywhere in Australia. Requirements for in-person supervision can vary by program, so we'll confirm what applies to your pathway before you start.
Do you offer secondary supervision?
Yes. If your principal supervisor is elsewhere, we can provide secondary supervision or case consultation in forensic and trauma areas.
Can I get supervision for court report work if I'm not a registrar?
Yes. We regularly support psychologists who are writing their first court reports or taking on expert witness and risk assessment work.
