about me

My training and experience have been primarily in forensic and high-risk mental health settings, where I have supported individuals experiencing complex emotional and behavioural challenges. I am a registered psychologist and hold a Master of Professional Psychology.

I am currently continuing my professional development through enrolment in the Master of Clinical Psychology program. I aim to provide a steady and grounded space where you feel safe to explore your experiences, make meaningful changes and reconnect with what matters to you. I take a calm, collaborative and non-judgmental approach.

My approach draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have a trauma-informed approach, with training in gold-standard therapies for trauma including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).

Common Questions

  • What types of issues do you help clients with?

We provide support for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth. Our counsellors tailor their approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

  • How do I know if counselling is right for me?

Counselling can benefit anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of guidance. If you’re experiencing persistent emotional challenges or simply want to better understand yourself, counselling can provide a safe and supportive environment to explore these concerns.

  • Is everything I share during sessions confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a core principle of our practice. Everything you share is kept private, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law. Your trust and safety are our priorities.

  • How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your personal goals and the nature of your concerns. Some clients benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. During your initial consultation, your therapist will discuss a plan that best fits your needs.

  • Do you offer online or virtual counselling sessions?

Yes, we offer both in-person and online counselling sessions to provide flexible support. Virtual sessions are conducted securely, ensuring the same level of confidentiality and care as face-to-face appointments.
