about me

My experience spans public sector and private practice settings, supporting children and adults through trauma, anxiety, anger, life transitions, and challenges with self-worth and identity. I am a provisional psychologist currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology. I aim to create a warm, direct and non-judgmental space where you can make sense of your experiences and move toward what genuinely matters to you.

My approach is collaborative and practical, drawing on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and compassion-focused approaches.

I have a trauma-informed approach, with training in gold-standard therapies for trauma including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and experience delivering structured anger management and values-based interventions.

FAQ

Common Questions

  • What types of issues do you help clients with?

We provide support for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth. Our counsellors tailor their approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

  • How do I know if counselling is right for me?

Counselling can benefit anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of guidance. If you’re experiencing persistent emotional challenges or simply want to better understand yourself, counselling can provide a safe and supportive environment to explore these concerns.

  • Is everything I share during sessions confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a core principle of our practice. Everything you share is kept private, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law. Your trust and safety are our priorities.

  • How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your personal goals and the nature of your concerns. Some clients benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. During your initial consultation, your therapist will discuss a plan that best fits your needs.

  • Do you offer online or virtual counselling sessions?

Yes, we offer both in-person and online counselling sessions to provide flexible support. Virtual sessions are conducted securely, ensuring the same level of confidentiality and care as face-to-face appointments.
