about me
I am a Forensic Psychologist with experience in the public and private sector. I have a specialty background in working with forensic clients (e.g., victims of crime, child protection and those in contact with the legal system). I have almost a decade of experience in trauma-informed care with individuals and families.
When I work with families, I believe in collaborating with parents to help them feel empowered to support their child to navigate their challenges. Whatever stage of life you’re in, it takes courage and strength to get support for your mental health.
The vulnerability of opening up to someone can seem daunting, but staying where you are might be more daunting. I’ll help you feel safe to make changes to connect with what you want your life to be and better connect with your loved ones. I have a trauma-informed approach, with training in gold-standard therapies for trauma including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).

We provide support for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth. Our counsellors tailor their approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
Counselling can benefit anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of guidance. If you’re experiencing persistent emotional challenges or simply want to better understand yourself, counselling can provide a safe and supportive environment to explore these concerns.
Is everything I share during sessions confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a core principle of our practice. Everything you share is kept private, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law. Your trust and safety are our priorities.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your personal goals and the nature of your concerns. Some clients benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. During your initial consultation, your therapist will discuss a plan that best fits your needs.
