about me
I am a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker with a Master’s qualification in Social Work and Mental Health Practice, bringing over 10 years of experience across child protection, mental health, disability, and crisis intervention.
I specialise in conducting comprehensive risk and strengths assessments to understand care needs, identify safety concerns, and assess the suitability of foster and kinship carer applicants. My practice prioritises culturally safe, inclusive, and trauma-aware approaches tailored to the unique needs of children, families, and carers.
With experience across both public and private sectors in child protection, I have developed a strong understanding of the complex and holistic needs of children in out-of-home care.
I am deeply committed to promoting their safety, stability, and mental wellbeing. My work includes assessing prospective foster and kinship carers, providing consultation on complex cases, and directly supporting frontline staff and volunteers while delivering informed, responsive, and high-quality care.

FAQ
Common Questions
What types of issues do you help clients with?
We provide support for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth. Our counsellors tailor their approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
Counselling can benefit anyone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of guidance. If you’re experiencing persistent emotional challenges or simply want to better understand yourself, counselling can provide a safe and supportive environment to explore these concerns.
Is everything I share during sessions confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a core principle of our practice. Everything you share is kept private, except in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if disclosure is required by law. Your trust and safety are our priorities.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your personal goals and the nature of your concerns. Some clients benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. During your initial consultation, your therapist will discuss a plan that best fits your needs.
Do you offer online or virtual counselling sessions?
Yes, we offer both in-person and online counselling sessions to provide flexible support. Virtual sessions are conducted securely, ensuring the same level of confidentiality and care as face-to-face appointments.
